Fantastic news as it now guarantees another Yorkshire team in the Premier League.
Middleborough should be thanking Leeds United for giving Southampton the idea.

Half expected it to happen
Now rules around it need to be tightened up and clubs made aware of the consequences

I think if Southampton are to appeal against it that appeal is heard today by different panel

Surprised the EFL had a spine. The fact Southampton are appealing is disgusting really, shameless . Will most likely get points deduction reduced but getting reinstated would be a travesty.

If only the Premier League could set such an example when rules are broken, the EFL should be applauded for their actions.

The Southampton appeal has been rejected and all aspects of the sanction imposed remain in place. There is no further right of appeal to CAS.

But Hull won't complain if they win, only if they lose.

Amazing that most of the talk has been about Southampton & Middlesborough, through no fault of their own Hull City have been disrupted. A team would prepare specific tactics against their individual opposition I doubt the practice sessions covered Southampton & maybe Boro on the off-chance.
