Apologies, to Reg & the other players, lost my internet connection when I was about to post my selections. No real harm done as my points wouldn't have been enough to topple Charle who I give my congratulations to, & all others players who made it a fiercely competitive League.
Commiserations to last years winner who I believe had issues getting on-line for a number of weeks & unfortunately he was unable to defend his title, I'm pretty sure that he'll would be there or there abouts. Before we all know it we get to go again.
Many thanks to Reg yet again for his endeavours in running a flawless comp & hopefully most if not all of the regulars return next season with maybe a few more besides to swell the ranks i would encourage any football mad newbies to give it a go or welcome back some returnee players from past seasons. It's competitive, but light hearted fun at the same time, get on board.

Thank seemed to have been a long session.

I'll like to thank Regenerated for managing to run a very successful competition again this year. Sometimes we take members and the work they do for granted, but we should give them the credit that they truly deserve. And thanks to all those players who managed to complete the session.

Kingmind pushed me for most of the session, but got pipped at the end by Jerry for the runner up spot.

It's my first win in the Regenerated era, although I have previously won it about 10 years ago. After week one I was next to last and it took several weeks before getting up to the top of the table, so even if you start slowly with the help of jokers you can still make it to the top.

So the next one is only about 12 weeks away.

I’ve really enjoyed this season and although Charlemagne has led for the majority of it the top 6 or so have always been close. A season when my poor joker performance was certainly a factor in my final position but much to be proud about in my scoring.

One factor in how enjoyable the competition remains is of course Regenerated. His good natured efficiency even when the Premier League do their best to complicate matters is amazing.

Thanks Reg for your efforts at running this game again. Even though I was bogged down in mid table all season, it's still fun to play. Not sure whether I need a better plan or if it was just a rogue unpredictable season, hats off to those who got it right and hope to see everyone back in a few months time.

How the hell did i bottle 2nd , anyway congrats to Charlemagne you deserve it,you lead the whole way so you really deserve this title.

And well done to Regenerated for running it.

Firstly congratulations to the new champion this season Charlemagne, I could not defend my title after a nearly 3 months absence due to Internet issues but no excuses just well done.
I would also like to thank Reg(Regenerated) for running an excellent competition and his thoughtfulness while I was missing.
Yet another season over and I would like to thank my fellow players with particular thanks to Boomerangutangangbang also for kind words and sparkling conversations.
I finally want to say loooking forward to the new season already with my two teams enjoying decent seasons Whitley Bay 3rd in Northern league div1 and Northumberland senior cuo winners and Sunderland 7th in Premier league and European football next season.
Finally I would encourage any non players to give this ago, it's not difficult just challenging and fun.

Congratulations Charlemagne a thoroughly deserving champion after 38 long weeks.

Also thanks to Regenerated for running another successful competition which can't always be easy especially at the busier periods of the season.

Overall I think it's been one of the toughest seasons in predicting the outcomes of games.

Will be back for the new season in August.
