Global Public Square
FZ talks to Ben Rhodes about what Obama did with Iran that Biden couldn't manage to, and Trump clearly didn't. He also finds that USAID's loss has made ebola worse, and claims that Venezuela is better under Trump, even whilst acknowledging that most of the populace isn't better now the US is creaming off the oil.

Late Night w/Seth Meyers
Paul Rudd and Will Forte are old friends (of Seth), Alison Brie is Evil-Lyn in the new MotU thing, and Rafael Nadal has his documentary to push.

2.13 Down to the Ozarks (well, Arkansas and Missouri), to try the volcano burger (beef in a large circle of cheese), large pancakes made with french toast batter, and finally a challenge which was an oversized choc cupcake, with 30 minutes and 75% failure rate, but he manages it in the time.
MvF
2.14 To Nashville for the last in this series, to face Southern food staples like biscuits, or the "meat n three", before a final challenge involving 3 super-spicy chicken tenders in 10 minutes, a 90% failure rate, but he cracks it.

A new series, again with someone who'd not long lost one of her parents. She tackles a Glasgow tenement, a Newcastle asylum and a Bodmin jail, cunningly swerving a cast-iron chance to go to Lancaster. Angela Griffin now doing the VO work.
WDYTYA? Amy Dowden
A long look into a teenage girl's murder, then a crewmember on a WW1 minesweeper, a coal striker, and finally the poignant find of another breast cancer sufferer from a century ago.

A way to pay homage to David Lynch. Was it his masterpiece? Hard to say. Bonnie made it 2 shows in a row.
CM: The Lion in Winter
Bonnie didn't make it a hat-trick. This excellent historical is packed with O'Toole, Hepburn, Hopkins, Dalton and more. Whether it inspired Succession and Game of Thrones is probably less clear. An odd and early end to the series?

Last Week Tonight, w/John Oliver
The crazy candidates to be governor of Colorado, and the crazy takeover of Florida's "New College" and how Trumpian attitudes overturned existing success by bringing in baseball players despite having no baseball facility.

TFI: Unplugged
They seem to have refined their format goals now; this was very now-focused (well, apart from interviewing a dipstick like Richard Bacon), though they did play out with archive performance of Three bloody Lions.

5.1 Not sure why the gap, but anyway, he rocked up in Long Island, to try the chicken parm pizza (no dough, basically a big flat piece of chicken), a brisket knish panini (w/gouda & onions), before the Kitchen Sink challenge being 5.5 lbs of ice cream, toppings, bananas, cherries and a waffle. Even with one hour, the 99% fail rate was too ominous, and usage of hot water didn't help him from losing.

Late Night w/Seth Meyers
Two guys marking 15 years of The Book of Mormon, some stand-up, someone who writes for Seth, Amy Adams pushing her Cape Fear rehash, and Dave Matthews talking SNL.

The Daily Show w/Jon Stewart
Jane Fonda made a debut, plugging a "freedom" concert which was scheduled for last night (opposite the UFC antics), but she was much overshadowed by a reappearance from Elmo and his latest travails.
