It feels quite surreal at the moment, that she's not here anymore, but I guess I feel that I was prepared that it was inevitable one day for a quite a long time, but when it happens like that, and completely out of the blue as it was, it can be quite a shock and probably does take time to process it, but when I think about her now, right at this moment, and two days after, she was not only the woman who gave birth birth to me, raised and fed me, she was also my best friend and confidante at times too these last few years. At the the same time, her release from pain is a grateful one for what she was going through physically. But also her death has given me a different view on life without her.
